The 120 day no-payment financing plan is only available for purchases above $299.  It also operates under the same premise as the 90 day financing.  If you don’t pay off your loan within the 120 days, you will end up paying for all the interest that has secretly been accruing in the background.  But don’t let that scare you.  If you’re able to pay off your loan within the 120 days, you won’t have to worry about paying any interest.

So who are these no-payment, no-interest financing plans good for? Well, if you’re thinking about buying a laptop or another Sony product for a present for Christmas, school, or a birthday, you may be interested in these plans.  They are great for people who have the ability to pay off the loan quickly but don’t necessarily want to spend the cash right away for the product.  Instead of paying $800 right away for your Sony laptop, you can pay $200 a month for four months (120 days).  This way you can meet your personal budget as well as get the computer you need without paying outrageous amounts of interest.
